Privacy policy

What we collect

When you request a research white paper, we collect your first and last name, organization, job title and email address. You can optionally provide a phone number. We also record the publication requested, the date and time, and whether you separately agreed to receive updates.

Why we collect it

We use the information to fulfill your publication request, measure demand for our research and respond to your inquiries. We send occasional research, speaking, workshop or advisory updates only if you select the optional consent checkbox. Marketing consent is never required for a download.

How the information is protected

Contact details are kept in a restricted Cloudflare D1 database. The paper is delivered from private Cloudflare R2 storage using short-lived, one-time authorization. Cloudflare Turnstile processes a bot-verification challenge; Cloudflare may handle technical information required for security and delivery under its own terms. We do not include names, email addresses or telephone numbers in website analytics events.

Retention and removal

Research-request records are scheduled for deletion after 365 days. Expired download authorizations are removed separately. If you would like your information corrected, deleted, or removed from optional updates sooner, contact us using the address below. Deletion may be subject to applicable legal obligations.

Research analytics

We count page views, form starts, requests and download responses in aggregate. Campaign source codes may be retained when they use a limited set of characters. We do not record individual identities in these aggregate statistics.
